Christopher Vollmer, LCSW, ACHP-SW, CSW-G, CDP, PEL lives and works in the St. Louis, MO area. He has been practicing since 2001 and has worked in schools, clinical mental health, hospitals, dialysis clinics, private practice, and hospice during that time. He has been with hospice since 2009.
Christopher has also been active in addiction recovery since becoming sober in September of 1998.
When not writing he can be found abusing ukuleles, drinking copious amounts of coffee, exploring inner terrain through meditation and floating, playing trivia games, hanging with his wife and pups, playing the Native American flute, and traveling. He has a decidedly and ironically irreverent yet humanistic style in his work and life that keep things interesting. His belief is that we are all here to make the world a better place and to make a difference in each other’s lives. There is no greater purpose.
